About Susan
Founder & Principal
Susan Smith is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) and has been working with students for over 15 years. She is a graduate of Harvard College (A.B. 1988) and Harvard Business School (M.B.A. 1993). She earned her Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from University of California Irvine in 2014, and she is a Professional Member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association).
Bringing years of experience in management consulting and marketing, Susan has worked across multiple industries and has expertise in research, writing, and editing, as well as interviewing and candidate screening. She has supported clients from all over the world, helping to guide their educational journeys and shape their profiles.
Susan was born and raised in the Boston area, and after several years living up and down the east coast of the US, she moved back to Boston with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys visiting family spread across US, India, and Singapore, and loves watercolor painting and cooking.
